VARIETY OF GRAPE: Tempranillo and Viura
ELABORATION: Vineyards located on San Vicente de la Sonsierra (La Rioja) estates. Prepared by select harvest at the vineyard, macerated in stainless steel tanks before maturing in American and French Oak casks then finally resting in the bottle.
TASTING NOTES: Deep and intense, cerise in colour with fresh, red fruit aromas, blossom, Mediterranean herbs, rose, liquorice, vanilla, spices, leather and cocoa, very complex and lasting. Great structure on the palate, full bodied with acidic sensations; salty, sweet and bitter. Lengthy, intense aftertaste, slightly tannic. Complex retro-nasal aftertaste with hints of red fruits, cocoa and spicy aromas.
